Does anyone know where I can take this class near Paramount in Los Angeles County?

You might want to check with a gym or recreation center in your area. Sometimes they have dance classes. You can look on Shira’s website.

Both of these sites have lots of great info about belly dance.

If you don’t find a teacher listed for your area, you might want to contact one from the websites and find out if they may know of someone closer to you. If the teacher’s style of instruction doesn’t blend well with your learning style you might want to try another teacher. I’ve known dancers to try different settings before finding one which worked well for them.
